Its apparent Falcon that you didnt read my post (Last post on page 8)
It makes all of you points mute. Read it and you will see why. Islam teaches ZERO tolerance of any other religion. The only way Muslims are to accept any other religion is if they pay a Tax for being non-muslim and even that wont keep them totally safe.
Mohammad himself said a Muslim is not to take a Christian or a Jew as a friend.
Christianity on the other hand is founded on love. Jesus told us to pray for our enemies, turn the other cheek etc.
Because some people claim to be Christian does not make them Christian. A true Christian would not hurt do any of those terrible thing you bring up.
A true Muslim is to kill anyone that does not submit to the will of Allah.
Read my post and educate yourself. I support with quotes and facts from the Bible and Koran everything I am saying.
My other post the first one on page 9. Has a link and a short version of America and its first dealing with the Muslim world. You should read that too.
After you read both of those you will see your other points are meaningless.
The only way that ANY other religion can coexist with Islam is for that religion to submit to Islam. That IS the ONLY way. Just read my post I explain everything. If you are willing to accept the truth you will realize that Islam is a cancer to the World.
That does not mean everyone that calls themselves Muslim is bad. If a "Muslim" makes friends with a Christian or Jew for example they are not a real Muslim. As defined and made clear by Mohammad who was given the law from the Angel Gabrielle that came from Allah. I have a bunch of quotes from the Bible and the Koran with teachings from Jesus and Mohammad of what it takes to be a Christian or a Muslim.
It is up to you if you want to learn the truth or continue to believe falsely as you do now when you think that Islam is not total danger to the World and will always be.
Jesus teaches that we should love our enemies and not resist evil ("turn the other cheek", as you are fond of putting it). However in Matthew 21:12 there is a scene bordering on violence where evil is clearly being resisted.
You say the message of Jesus is a message of love and peace, but what do you think is meant in Matthew 10:34-36 where division and disunity, possibly even violence are being condoned?
No, it's not as cut and dry as you seem to think. Ecclesiastes 7:16-18 makes it clear that for one's thoughts and actions to be 100% consistent is undesirable (and I would say nigh impossible). So what you are prescribing a Christian or Muslim to do to be a "true" believer is tantamount to suicide.
You might say that Jesus' teachings are crystal clear and not open to interpretation. Yes, on one level the text can be determined to be comprised of discrete units of syntactic structure. But on another level, how one applies those teachings is open to interpretation, especially in the case of novel situations. Does, for instance, a Christian prevent the killing of the many by ordering the killing of the few? That is what, some argue, occurred with the dropping of the first atom bombs, but the ethics of doing so remains open to debate.
There are a couple reasons why it's meaningless to speculate on who makes a "true" believer. Matthew 7 leads off with a parable that is essentially about bind spots. How can you say that there are those who fail at practicing their beliefs without including yourself in that category? "First take the log out of your own eye..."
The other reason why it is meaningless to say what we would or should do in a given situation is that it is pure speculation and apt to not be accurate. Just look at Peter. He loved to think that he knew himself but according to the Biblical account he wept bitterly because of his capricious behavior (Matthew 26:75).
Therefore I reject your claims that you know what it is to be a true Christian, and by extension, a true Muslim. That is not to say that you are wrong, only that I do not accept your rhetoric on this subject or your invitation to think as you do.
Also, I am highly suspicious of your pernicious claims to exclusive purchase on the truth.
