No please, go ahead and argue that your 20+ paragraph rants are anything but the ravings of a madman. Well Adrenaline if you insist I was going to say. "Adrenaline WTH do you think I was serious about the superior intellect thing? I was joking that is why I have the  after it. But you are so quick to jump on any little tidbit I leave you that you think you can prove me wrong on that you didnt even notice that. There is no need for me to do that. The burden of proof is on you. Everything I have said I have backed up with facts from the sources. Everything I have posted are verifiable truths and obvious to normal people. You are the one with the facts and truth (reality) being put in your face and you are somehow denying it. You have not been able to prove anything I have posted as being wrong. You havent even tried. The best you could do was jump on a little joke I made. I'm not really sure what is going on in your head, but when someone says "The Iranians are trying to build a Nuclear Weapon and want to wipe out Israel." Then they show you the video of the Iranian Pres. saying that. How exactly do you still somehow think it isnt true? You obviously have some sort of disconnect from reality. Are you crazy? I dont know, but something is wrong with you. Basically it is like this. I have presented cold hard facts to back up what I have said. All you have done is make poor attempts to attack me personally. (Typical Liberal result when facts get in the way of their reality.) It is obvious from that, that you know I am right, and you dont like it, so you just resort to childish behavior. Thats how things stand right now and until you can present a valid argument to prove I am wrong thats the way it will continue to be. |

My "hacked facebook" post did have a point -- I was illustrating the fact that you are a paranoid conspiracy theorist. Your retort, however, was completely pointless and accomplished nothing other than demonstrating your ability to google the term "people of walmart". You must understand sam, to anyone who lives in a big, cosmopolitan city and has to deal with people of all different sorts of backgrounds, including many Muslims, on a daily basis, you really seem deranged. In fact I have multiple family members in Afghanistan, and I'm always amazed, when they tell me about how complicated it is out there, at how how enmeshed the war is in tribal and global politics... did you know that there are Al Qaeda aligned tribes in bloody feuds with Taliban aligned tribes for example? Moreover, how can you completely ignore things all the terrible attacks perpetrated by extremist Christians and the far Right... the shootings in Norway, the Oklahoma City Bombing, the bombing of the Bologna train station, the many bombings and arson attacks on abortion clinics, etc, etc, etc? Did you know that when the first Crusaders took Jereusalem they slit the bellies open of every man, woman, and child they could find because they were convinced there were gold coins hidden in their stomachs? I have spent quite a lot of time trying to unravel what precipitated this crisis. To clarify, since people of your persuasion and background use liberal to mean "OMG OBAMA REGIME," neoliberalism is (more or less) a belief that unfettered free trade and open markets necessarily and of their own accord improve the overall human condition and a willingness to intervene politically and militarily to remove all impediments to trade. Both the Democratic and Republican parties are predominantly Neoliberal. Honestly, I don't completely understand the current crisis, but I also don't claim to have some special, paranoid insight into the world as your strain of Rightism does. I can say this though, if you don't know what terms like negative amortization, collateralized debt obligation, and credit default swap mean, then you haven't even come close to getting it. You absurdly tell me that you "can't understand how I think," saying I'm naive or stupid when I'm trained social scientist working on my PhD and you get your news from cherry picked Youtube videos. To be honest, I really doubt the rational arguments above will make any dent in your fanaticism, or those of many other evangelicals & rightists that never shut up around here. But let me say this about myself. I am an atheist and align myself politically with the anti-authoritarian Left, so I have no cause to or self interest in supporting the interests of either political Islam or the State in general or the Obama administration in particular. Let us just call this post an experiment, out of curiosity, to see whether your (very interesting, from an anthropological or clinical psychology point of view) way of thinking is in anyway amenable to rational forms of speech and argument. I pointed out the Muslim world is in total chaos. That a majority of Muslims want to kill/destroy Israel, America, Jews, and Christians and put Islam in control of the World. I backed that up with facts and videos from the Muslim world. From their own mouths, the mouths of their leaders, the actual statistics. These are FACTS this is reality. I pointed out that Israel is preparing to attack Iran, because Iran is near to completing a Nuclear Bomb and has vowed to destroy Israel. I backed it with facts from the actual people involved. I pointed out that the European Union is on the brink of total financial collapse. I backed that up with Facts. I pointed out that America is also on the brink of financial collapse. I backed that up with facts. I pointed out that Central Banks are a major cause for the terrible financial state of America and Europe. I backed that up with facts. I pointed out that any of these things could potential throw the entire World into chaos. I backed that up with facts. I even put up videos of all these facts so you wouldnt have to do too much reading, and you could see all of these facts from their actual sources. So I put facts right in your face so you could see first hand what is the truth and reality of the World and you deny reality. Yet you say I am crazy? Wouldnt the crazy person be you? The one that rejects reality. What do you think those videos are CGI that I made? That they arent real? Come on man get a grip. Adrenaline cannot debate policy with you, so he resorts to insults instead. - G the investigation of 9/11 was performed by the people who allegedly were behind it. i would tend to think if you put an alleged murderer in charge of his murder investigation he would be found not guilty without question too. the fact that a lot of people profited short term from this and it was a catalyst to the iraq war (new crusade), plus a lot of the minor details that line up in favor of this being a fishy thing make me at the very least question our innocence in what happened I guess you also believe America faked the Moon landing and the Earth is really flat. Or maybe you are like honkey and think that the Bilderberg Group controls the World and that 9-11 was faked. Is that it? because these are more related and i wanted to address this conspiracy theory stuff. see above for 9-11, but we did land on the moon, the earth is not flat (except sort of at the poles). the earth isn't the center of the universe, or even the solar system. our sun isn't that unique. our planet isn't that unique (other than holding the only known life forms at this time). these last 3 were "facts" for long stretches of time. people died because they didn't agree with them (because of religion!) things that are "known" are only known until we question them and investigate and find out more information. |

I'm going off what monty posted because I can't read the mass of diarrhea sam has been contributing, trolling or not.
The Middle East has not always been in chaos, not hardly, there have been numerous hegemonic empires throughout that region's history.
There is no center of the universe, it would be like me telling you to try to find the center of the surface of an increasingly expanding ball.
The supposed dangers of Iran having a nuclear weapon are numerous besides any scenario involving a direct attack, such as proliferation and a regional arms race with Israel / other states. A second cold war with the potential for nuclear exchange between Israel, Saudi Arabia, Turkey etc would not be pleasant. If Iran has been seeking to develop a nuclear weapon there is shit all anyone can do to prevent it short of either finally bending to massive international pressure, a massive bombing campaign (by the US) followed by Iran bending to international pressure, or an outright invasion and regime change. All three are exceedingly unlikely at this point.

What if Iran does get the bomb, but instead of directly attacking or taking credit for anything, they send a few men with nukes into Israel, and then BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMM, and they never take credit, but they achieve their goal of mass destruction and the world is left to figure out what happened, technically theirs no one to blame but someone is responsible and now their no direct consequences IRAN GOT AWAY WITH IT.

I think some people might argue our sun is sort of special, since it would seem not to be a part of a binary star system.
And I don't know if I would blame religion for all the injustices performed in its name over the centuries. Certain shrewd individuals and coalitions in positions of considerable influence found that it (religion) was a most effective means of galvanizing support for the consolidation and conservation of control. Religion serves a very necessary purpose in that it offers guidance for people not at liberty to provide it for themselves. Insofar as we are at our core social beings religion imparts an acceptable context in which we are connected to the profound. I think it plays a very necessary role in evolution, but that said, I do have my suspicions that what's coming down the pipe is a game changer for sure. We'll just have to see.
Also, FACT = Nearly 100% of all individuals who have ever eaten food have died. Therefore food is poison. This is a joke, but hopefully you can see that an unscrupulous approach to the details of a matter can lend itself to such errors of judgement. Perhaps the most common that can be made.
