I would honestly be surprised if you three idiots could even name what his profession was, what he died from and where he died. Does he have a guestbook like Mordia, can we contribute RIPs and thoughts/prayers? Nobody else seems to know the answer! 1. Teacher for those snot nosed little kids 2. He was in Manhattan! 3. He died of a heart too big (hence the teaching little kids) 4. There was guestbook, I doubt its still online. People are always going to overreact to shit like this. Father Xmas could die, and while none of us would really care because we didn't know him, people would still vehemently defend the honor of his corpse with red eyes and spittle flying out of their mouths. I knew all this but didnt see the point at the time of continuing the discussion. Several mythers did post to the guestbook at the time, myself included. Overreaction to cu's post wasn't overreaction it was calling someone out for posting something that was just fucked and out of line. |

The forums do need a reality check from time to time when the death threats come out and the way too personal shit like this arises. Agreed would have used the same reality check term myself. 99% of the stuff on the forum is all good. Cu's post was in the other 1% |

Guys here's the deal. Different people have different moral boundaries.
According to most people here cu's post was way out of line, but since he's slightly more different than the rest of us he probably thinks that his post was not a big deal.
We live in a developed society, and we should just kindly remind him that we as acquaintances of his would recommend not saying anything in that fashion because it's not really normal to do so.
All this raging and flaming is unneeded.
Cu, if you'd just like to apologize, it would just make the atmosphere a little lighter, since many of us don't like what you said.

However... I found the line about joans carcinogenic vagina to be a bit more ridiculous. I hated Joan and Mordia back on bnet, but the reality is, I would never joke about something like that, or even begin to think I was clever for posting something of that nature.
And also--
Not really comparable to the GKG die in Iraq comment. gkg can be quite polarizing, wheras we are talking about a guy who is already dead. Not to condone that being said to GKG, but its not a one size fits all situation. People are allowed to have their own views on the military etc, that was just a terrible way to express it.
