hello my professional myther colleagues,
as everyone knows, myth players just keep getting better and better. this is well documented by respected community members such as grim (see grim's article) and gkg (numerous forum posts). if you need further proof, just watch east wind's recent performance against my team and compare his level of play to some top player's play in, say mwc 2006. the difference is simply mind-blowing.
with every top player's skills so high and unit control at its absolute maximum, my team realized that to get an edge against other top teams we had to completely revolutionize myth strategy. we did it and we call it
stall don't fall, then slut rush
the premise is very simple. we dont fight at all, just stall as long as possible while falling back as little as possible. then at some point the whole team suddenly becomes aware of the fact that we should slut rush something. we all yell awhile frantically on chat and eventually everyone rushes something. this new strategy completely stomped the supposed greatest team of all time1). one of the best, safest powerhitters, eastwind2) was completely raped. just watch game number 1 of our match where suddenly our team collectively decides to do a seemingly ridiculously bad move rushing south parkians hill, only to rape completely, leaving ew in such a shock that he even kills his team's assassin targets.
this strategy brought us a 5-0 sweep, while ew, one of the premier powerhitters of today2) managed to get these statistics:
20 kills, 22 losses, 28.4 damage per game (5 games played)
meanwhile I, a totally over-the-hill powerhitter, got these statistics:
49 kills, 18 losses, 83.75 damage per game (4 games played)
with my team sweeping the former greatest team of all time on a level playing field1), i think it's fair to say we have found a completely new way to play myth. in 14 years of mything, no one has thought of anything like this. because of this i believe that my team has to be considered the greatest team of all time regardless of what happens in future weeks. understandably our care level took a dive now that we swept the south parkians.
also keeping in mind that i'm one of the co-creators of this new strategy with karma, bone and dantski and the biggest powerhitter on our team, i have further solified my stance as not only the greatest myth player ever, but quite possibly the greatest athlete ever.
1)
I'm sorry to say grim, but if your team loses this year it will just be because it just isn't as good, and finally proving that it never really was. The care excuse that NP/tcox players have hid behind for the past 5 or so years is no longer relevant, as the teams are pretty even on the care factor this year.

As for powerhitting, I liked to leave those FGing jobs to the likes of east wind and adrenaline, otherwise there might be some embarrassing yearly mishaps with pus ghols, but that isn't something you would know about.
