Well game 1 , i caught your heron pack breaking away and i was actually shadowing , my initial thought was if i break threw and show threat to your flag you would be forced to leave our mid alone , i could not believe it when I realized that no one even saw me go threw .

As far as rating of this team i personally think that most of the people doing ratings are stuck in 2001 lala land and they are desperate to relive those days , they see a few old timers names and they get an instant hard on , i personally wish i could give a crap about any rating i think Rat cares some about that , however it gets to the point were someone with some reality has to say are we stupid and dreaming or is there a reason a team is wining games vs all those 4 Ballers . how many times do luck needs to strike until it becomes a fact , 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 , .......10 who knows .

Ok I'm bored at work and I stumble across this thread, which is much hilarity.

Hey R3, who the hell was calling tcox 4 ballers? Flat just acknowledged he is 3 balls. I'm sure cave is too for being as inactive as he is just like the rest of their team.

Did you not see that they got swept in the QR? Seriously bragging about beating that team?

R3, who gets swept 5-0 in the finals of the last tournament (that no one gave a shit about), then brags about winning on a technicality when the team smashing their faces thought it was over already and didn't give a shit anyway.

R3, who is now bragging about beating a team that just got swept BADLY earlier in the QR. Coincidentally a team who no one was calling a team of 4 ballers except R3 now after having beaten them. Coincidentally calling everyone else delusional while simultaneously being the only delusional ones on the forum (excluding Drunken and Deer).

Looks like Grim's team TA form the BEGINNING of the tournament even said tcox was below R3. Grim made a bunch of mainstream predictions saying you would win handily and it happened like everyone thought it would, so how is this an upset again? And again, who was calling Tcox 4 ballers? Starting a whole thread over this stupid shit, and changing your forum name even (LOL), seriously?

I'm sorry, but your reality check is coming very soon.

I guess the next logical thing for R3 to do is brag about how they didn't get swept in games as they try to find a way to save face and gracefully exit the tournament without anyone noticing all their previous big talk. LOL going to be some funny threads about this in a week or 2 because we all know that won't happen.

Suppose I would if registration weren't closed. Angry Face/Coxens were always the most fun to team with and I'd have just teamed with you guys since 2001 if everyone hadn't quit myth or gone horribly inactive.

heh not sure how you dragged cave into it.
Frankly it was terrible that we lost 4 games.
We should have won 2 of the 4 we lost.

First map we let hg pack through somehow which kind of sucked since I had just raped your mid and I felt we were well on the way to bcing your team to death and dont think we were really getting outplayed that game.

2nd Map we pushed your stuff all the way back to your flag and I raped your army there to give us a 30% lead yet we through poor planning or strategy or tactical decision or whatever we somehow lose that game also.

This might be a long post.

My own short review of the matches.

Game 1 - Ctf on the map with the totally horrid colour.
R3 pushed our mid and raped it. Cave and myself ran back to help mid and I got there first and raped your mid. Unfortunately we let a hg pack get straight through our line and to our flag and you took our flag when I think we were getting the upperhand in the BC. Losses like this makes baby jesus cry.

Game 2 - Kryptos map which looks great but plays like garbage.
I totally annihlated your mid (2 fgs + a bunch of zerks + some thrall + a mort) after having pushed you back to your home flag. We had a 30% unit advantage yet virtually no d and nobody could get back in time to save our last flag being taken. Losses like this makes baby jesus cry tears of blood.

Game 3 - Raisin Barn
No excuses here. You outplayed us well. You outbced us and killed us. I could never really rush anything with my spiders since your team aklways either had a shitload of archers close to your melee and your melee never was far away enough from your dorfs to safely ever rush them with the spids. We lost the archer battle too which was rather important. Good job on this game for R3.

Game 4 - The map with the trow that I dont remember the name.
At the end of the game the % was 23% for both teams but you had many more flags. Usually if both teams finish with 23% you'd think it was a close game but the game itself did not at any point feel that way at all. I felt we were pushed and outbced all *cruisering* game long. Myself doing trow I found myself continually having to shore up our defense somewhere or other or shadow your trow. % was close but this was not a close game. We got beaten from the start to the end. Good job again.

Game 5 - Caer terries.
Well it's the only game we won. 95% of the team played aggressive and cohesive and it actually showed for once. I got lucky with 1 dud pus but i had a dorf and a pus there myself so i dont think that really mattered. We won this handily.

Nothing against cave since he's a solid 4 baller but i'm sure if you studied the films you'd probably find I'm the most active and premier 4 baller on the team right now and today i was playing in atrocious lag hence my 2 lagouts.

Some of my personal stats from this match to solidify this claim.

Game 1 - Most kills+damage in the game for either team = me
Game 2 - Most Kills+damage in the game for either team = me
Game 3 - Most kills+damage for tcox / 2nd best kills+damage in the game = me
Game 4 - Most kills in the game = me / 2nd best damage in the game = me (more kills and dmg than anybody on r3).
Game 5 - Most kills+damage in the game = me

Considering i got those stats in a match we lost 4-1 I think it's safe to say I have achieved my 3rd ball again (probably for the first time since 2001).
Basically we made stupid mistakes and should have probably won 3-2 if any of us had the game awareness that we used to have when we were active 3-4 years ago or something like that.

Wondering if i can put any more post-excuses or ego stroking of myself into this post but i dont think I can!

We (tcox) as a team are playing quite horridly really and I am as much to blame for that as anyone else but I'll be honest in saying you don't have any players on my or caves level in regards to skills BUT you are indeed playing better as a team than us today.

Saying that Im fairly sure cave's not here next week so expect us to be eliminated by time wizards or something..

Ps. Nothing personal at yourself or r3 in this post as I quite like yourself and the people on r3. I'd like to see how a match between the 2 teams would go with a 7v7 and with people besides cave,myself and gamer being active at all.

Pss. In case you didn't notice i was Q.

Had a quick look at films.

Game 1 - TCox needed one of you or Cave to kill mid not both, the herons that took TCox flag were on your side of the map so its partly your fault for sure!

Game 2 - TCox went 80% mid and crushed R3's FG's and melee, R3's flanks took flags and then your last flag as TCox were unable to translate their % advantage into a quick win.

Game 3 - R3 split spiders, that meant they could micro them so much better than you could using 3. R3 kept freezing dorfs and that won them the game.

Game 4 - R3 slowly wins N, S is even and Ratking uses his trow better than you. R3's trower wins the game. Nice defence on SE flag though, you had no right keeping that initially.

Game 5 - R3 gets advantage N then wastes it, TCox pushes mid and R3 retreats unnecessarily. A pus duds in middle of EVERY single one of your warriors so you clean up a melee group. R3 slowly retreats and dies.

So a shorter version looks like

G1 - You abandon your flank and get ratios while flag dies (you had heronpack)

G2 - You BC the *cruiser* out of them while they tag flags. (you had FG's)

G3 - Having less players shows when you need to micro spid queens, although maybe you'd have given them all to 1 person anyways. (you had all 3 spid queens)

G4 - R3 come out slightly ahead N and in trowing department. (you had trow and melee)

G5 - R3 blows good start then gets a bit unlucky (melee pack)
