Frankly it was terrible that we lost 4 games.
We should have won 2 of the 4 we lost.
First map we let hg pack through somehow which kind of sucked since I had just raped your mid and I felt we were well on the way to bcing your team to death and dont think we were really getting outplayed that game.
2nd Map we pushed your stuff all the way back to your flag and I raped your army there to give us a 30% lead yet we through poor planning or strategy or tactical decision or whatever we somehow lose that game also.
This might be a long post.
My own short review of the matches.
Game 1 - Ctf on the map with the totally horrid colour.
R3 pushed our mid and raped it. Cave and myself ran back to help mid and I got there first and raped your mid. Unfortunately we let a hg pack get straight through our line and to our flag and you took our flag when I think we were getting the upperhand in the BC. Losses like this makes baby jesus cry.
Game 2 - Kryptos map which looks great but plays like garbage.
I totally annihlated your mid (2 fgs + a bunch of zerks + some thrall + a mort) after having pushed you back to your home flag. We had a 30% unit advantage yet virtually no d and nobody could get back in time to save our last flag being taken. Losses like this makes baby jesus cry tears of blood.
Game 3 - Raisin Barn
No excuses here. You outplayed us well. You outbced us and killed us. I could never really rush anything with my spiders since your team aklways either had a shitload of archers close to your melee and your melee never was far away enough from your dorfs to safely ever rush them with the spids. We lost the archer battle too which was rather important. Good job on this game for R3.
Game 4 - The map with the trow that I dont remember the name.
At the end of the game the % was 23% for both teams but you had many more flags. Usually if both teams finish with 23% you'd think it was a close game but the game itself did not at any point feel that way at all. I felt we were pushed and outbced all *cruisering* game long. Myself doing trow I found myself continually having to shore up our defense somewhere or other or shadow your trow. % was close but this was not a close game. We got beaten from the start to the end. Good job again.
Game 5 - Caer terries.
Well it's the only game we won. 95% of the team played aggressive and cohesive and it actually showed for once. I got lucky with 1 dud pus but i had a dorf and a pus there myself so i dont think that really mattered. We won this handily.
Nothing against cave since he's a solid 4 baller but i'm sure if you studied the films you'd probably find I'm the most active and premier 4 baller on the team right now and today i was playing in atrocious lag hence my 2 lagouts.
Some of my personal stats from this match to solidify this claim.
Game 1 - Most kills+damage in the game for either team = me
Game 2 - Most Kills+damage in the game for either team = me
Game 3 - Most kills+damage for tcox / 2nd best kills+damage in the game = me
Game 4 - Most kills in the game = me / 2nd best damage in the game = me (more kills and dmg than anybody on r3).
Game 5 - Most kills+damage in the game = me
Considering i got those stats in a match we lost 4-1 I think it's safe to say I have achieved my 3rd ball again (probably for the first time since 2001).
Basically we made stupid mistakes and should have probably won 3-2 if any of us had the game awareness that we used to have when we were active 3-4 years ago or something like that.
Wondering if i can put any more post-excuses or ego stroking of myself into this post but i dont think I can!
We (tcox) as a team are playing quite horridly really and I am as much to blame for that as anyone else but I'll be honest in saying you don't have any players on my or caves level in regards to skills BUT you are indeed playing better as a team than us today.
Saying that Im fairly sure cave's not here next week so expect us to be eliminated by time wizards or something..
Ps. Nothing personal at yourself or r3 in this post as I quite like yourself and the people on r3. I'd like to see how a match between the 2 teams would go with a 7v7 and with people besides cave,myself and gamer being active at all.
