Y'all should up your level of reading and hit up some Shakespeare, Joyce, Kafka, Chekhov, Ibsen, Sophocles, Sartre, Camus, Emerson, Conrad, and Proust!

Reading books from famous philosphers doesn't make you smart, philosopher or anything. It makes you annoying ass who brags about his reading habits , quotes endlessly and is probably unable to form original thought. Picasso's paintings aren't beautiful, they are horrid crap and annoying to look at. Same with these anceint playwrights. "Just because someone is famous doesn't mean his work should be jacked off to you pretentious piece of shit." - masturbating underwear ninja

Spot on Rabican Never mind that Pogue is clearly too stupid to have ever been able to read any of those authors

I'm pretty sure that masturbating underwear ninja is the only philosopher worth his salt being discussed in this thread.

the one thing i read from heidegger was crazy as shit and ridiculously difficult to read, really shouldn't take me hours to decode that we're "losing touch with nature"
plato/socrates was pretty boring
nietzsche was a lot of fun, not the greatest at original ideas but he was fantastic at tearing other philosopher's lifelong work to pieces.

Nietzsche is amazing. I tried reading Freud, but I think 99% of his stuff is bullshit, but On Dreams was kinda cool I tried analyzing some of the dreams I had that I could remember and some of them were spot on with his theories, others weren't even close.

I like how Pogue pretends to have read this stuff and all he can say about it is "it's bullshit" or "kinda cool". Retard's too stupid to even pretend to be intelligent.

Myrk, I can pretty much guarantee I'm one of the most well read mythers there is. Maybe you should spend more time reading instead of losing MWC finals. You might do something in your life, or are you too busy going to Barefax strip club in ottawa and getting kicked out by the bouncers? *cruiser* off retard. Enjoy your life as a government employee at the department of agriculture cleaning toilets. Dumb *cruiser*.

Yet another 3rd grade level insult from Pogue as he attempts to prove he's well-read. I dare you to write one intelligent thing. I know you won't, because you haven't actually read shit in your life, apart from when people used to write "faggot" on your forehead at school. But really, keep on pretending that you've ever read a book without pictures while everyone laughs at what a complete tool you are.
