So I watched all the teams play this week. Which was kinda painful, and stopped halfway thru on all but the TS r3 match which was good. I guess I'll start there.
r3 players: Rat, Muse, Crem, Slate, ten, and ksi. Val for 1 game
TS players: Honkey, Pogue, Monty, Jotun, Blonde, Khan, toxny, kilg + Asmo and rode later
TS v r3:
Btw, we played wrong gt on first map. Not sure how that happened as I had the damn page loaded on my other monitor. Anyway, Honkey was capping TS and I was capping r3. They went very meele heavy, rest on arcs. We were much more balanced. They decided to slut rush mid, I puled our flanks back. Their rush was ill timed and coordinated, thus failed. Jotun blames his team for the loss. Were up 1-0.
Game 2
Game 2 was much more hectic. Muse was capping for us. In a nutshell, we didn't match their N forces and got down in tags. Made a few bad plays and lost the game. TS did a gj. Jotun loves his stats.
Game 3
Game 3 was same story but different problems. Our forces were too out of place and got pinched. Happened on their side of mid mostly. Tried to flank around but but they reinforced and stopped me easily. Then they took our flag. Were down 2-1 at this point.
Game 4
This is where the r3 magic happens. I credit this massive victory to my team playing well but also to Jotun's fetching which was horrible. I mean random ctrl clicking may have worked better / killed more. He finished 1-7-6 with 4 fetch. We both met mid with our forces. I called our flanks back but Muse wanted to go ahead, very good call by him. After re-positioning our fetch we pushed and annihilated them. I think I killed 4-5 fetch with a few spids. Here slate showed off his 2t skills raping with fetch. Just a well played and executed game. We finished with 75% left. Its now tied 2-2. Clutch play time, and we all know r3 lacks no ability there. Let's see what happens.
Game 5
Both teams start with a 2 prong consisting of mixed sets. N was having trouble at first but then came back and was doing well. S however was a stalemate. Watching the clock I knew something had to be done to tip the scales. So.. I ordered S to run/survive and flanked thru mid to pinch N. This worked and N was mostly killed but now the time was very low. Their S and other units had positioned on the flag, forcing us to attack. Which we did, and won the match. About 22% left I think.
Pretty good for a team with no 4 ballers. Ts played very well except for game 4. I don't know what all the schedule fuss was about. They had 3-4 more players than we did. Oh course kilg and pogue were quite annoying to play against, but honkey was cool and that helped. I kinda feel sorry for the pair bc their mouth keeps writing checks their play can't cash. Anyone else see a trend here? Asmo was crun'd which was lol.
So.. Tw vs Nc is next.
I won't cover all the games bc they were one sided. However I have some points I would like to make. TW's def need a designated cap. I think its too much for kyle to do by himself. Someone needs to step up and help him. SC should be their hevi hittur, his play stood out in the games. Nc had some really good capping done by shai. However they only had 5 players which was enough, but could hurt them later. TW has the potential to take down some of the lesser teams, mb some of the better ones too. Needs organization and execution.
Tcox vs gru
Oh man I felt badly for gru. They really suffer from unimapping ffa gimble. Lack of taggers / scouts, defending flags, etc. Gamer was capping and did well. They had plenty of players there and and are a threat.
Age vs my team
Much of the same as above. Age had some better play but lacked in players. My team shows up again en force and takes down another team. I think they are in the top 2 so far, but Sp is right there as well.
Ok I'm over this already so I'm wrapping it up. Hopefully gamer will do one, his are better.
Power Rankings as I see it:
1. SP
2. My team
3. Tcox / NC
4.NC / Tcox
5. r3
