It's funny I think many of us have been playing together so long we can instantly point out which one a lot of us are.

Seeing socializers made me think of the forum junkies who haven't actually played myth in years.

This is pretty hilarious...I think mine varies from game to game. With most strategy/rts games I would be an Achiever but for MMO's i'm definitely a Killer.

Myth socialzer for me. In Lol I am def a killer there is nothing like zoning a kid out and then just hammering them when they try to do something about it. They get so frustrated and angry and give up then u start taunting them an their team starts fighting with you and pretty soon it is just a rage fest and eventually the feeder aka the person you raped gets shit on until the inevitable surrender.

i think i've been all 4. way more of an explorer early on in my career, but i think that's necessary in order to learn what ur doing. i was way more of a killer back then as well. nowadays i'd say i'm a bit more of a socialite and my achieving side . i would say that achieving and socialite combined is closest to what i am in this community as a trainer and motivator for other players.

To meet the classification for "killer" I think you have to be able to beat other players bro

on-topic: 'achiever' and 'explorer' don't seem mutually exclusive to me. You don't have success in most games unless you understand the mechanics of the game, map layout, etc. Pretty well every game I've played I've been an explorer until I figured everything out, then turned into an achiever.

Myth's not an MMO. Applying these definitions is quite a *cruisering* stretch.

um, what wwo? these player types are applied to any multiplayer game. not sure why you think it is a stretch, it is extremely applicable, as everyone here has identified with it in some way. nobody is purely one type, but it's like analyzing a player's personality. some types are more dominant than others.

I for one would say I go through a phase of all 4 types, here is how I would break down my myth career:

1998-2001: Explorer
2002-2004: Achiever
2005-2012: Killer
present-future: Socializer

And I think I go through those phases in most of the games I get into, probably more rapidly though.
