I think most people use it for attack ground, but I actually use it as my gesture click (so I can click and hold to angle stuff precisely) and disable the gesture on left click so it just "moves".

I used to have it set up that way for blue vs grey where orientation of linear formations is more important than lock shots or whatever
I presume you're describing map making precision, though?

Nope orientation of formations. It doesn't make a huge difference in practice of course, but I'm just a little OCD about everything being perfectly aligned  What I'd actually like to see is an option to make it so that when right click is bound to gesture, it *does not* select units. Thus you'd have a way to move units over top/into groups of other units without accidentally just selecting/targetting them instead. |

gesture click. i still attack ground with it sometimes though... left and right both work for that.
