This is an article to help prevent the captains from becoming the next Matt Millen(worst sports GM ever) of Myth2. In these 5 easy steps you will be on your way to GREATNESS.
1. The Super Star Your first pick should be used on a Heavy hitter. He is going to be your most important player because depending on who you pick up he will determine what other players you can draft, because if you don't make your best player happy by surrounding him with players that he likes or at least doesn't dislike then your chances to win will be very slim.
2. The Floor General After you take care of who your heavy hitter will be you need to make sure that you get a captain on your roster that will be able to put your players in the best situation possible to succeed and keep the team calm and focused in close games.
3. The Role Players This will be the majority of your roster and while you pick these players the most important thing is to NOT just pick the best talent remaining but to pick players that will have a good Chemistry with the players you have already selected.
4. Potential With about the 5th or 6th pick this is where you might want to take a chance and select a player that may be considered worse than some of the remaining choices but at the same time has not been seen much at the tournament level and may surprise and give you an edge in "The Role Player" category if things pan out right.
5. The Cheer Leader With your last pick you will be choosing a player that is most likely going to be taking over puss/guarding flag duty. It is important that you choose a player who is willing to learn and accept his role so that he doesn't whine and drop mid game because he didn't get the units he wants.
