also agreeing on the formation issue - the ability to customize a formation or multiple formations would be amazing - create your own!-.

Yeah, pathfinding could be improved somewhat, but it's pretty good for what it is. I absolutely think perma-stained battlefields and interactive detritus is a huge boon. Also, individual unit names (that are modifiable) can, in single player at least, turn an otherwise ordinary unit into a faithful veteran with the potential to see you through the whole campaign--a nice touch of personalization.

Wow, that's a lot of responses! Thanks for all the feedback so far, guys!
Obviously, I know the things that I love about it, but this is shining a light on elements that I might not have considered.
Someone mentioned the idea of acquiring the rights to the actual Myth series. I have looked into it some, and heard from others who have looked into it a lot more than I have, and I am confident that there is no way that Take 2 will accept any terms that Rubicite could dream of being able to afford. I am still reaching out to them to talk about licensing the Myth engine, but I don't have much hope of that actually happening either.
To those of you who have volunteered to help in some way, Rubicite is a small company. I appreciate the offers, and once we are further along on this project, I will definitely be in touch. Good help like the Myth community can provide will certainly be welcome, and will go a long way toward getting the project done more quickly.

Well, that's kinda why I mentioned that you shouldn't give up on trying to pursue the rights. I saw your thread on the magma forums and like I said, the people there are the source of the ambiguous information regarding Take 2's requests for the rights. They are also rather reluctant on trying to contact them again, so I wouldn't stop trying based on the info you get from them, if I were you.

Also it would be nice if archers could fire their arrows parallel to themselves instead of all converging on one point; right now (i think) we have to individually select each archer to make them fire to different points
