If you had something selected you need to release the alt-# keys before clicking on the ground and not a moment sooner.
DID YOU MISS THAT PART AKI? I EMBIGGENED IT FOR YOU. IT MEANS HE'S
TO RELEASE THE PRESETS IN TIME.
I UNDERSTAND THE POSTS COME PRETTY FAST AND FURIOUS ON THIS FORUM, BUT TRY TO KEEP UP! [/color]

as much as i appreciate all you newbs giving the best myth player ever some preset 101 training i thought i was pretty clear about the problem, but ill explain one more time.
i have made the preset. i have selected something else. i select the preset pressing alt+number, then release both buttons, then click where you want that preset to go. if you do this too fast, nothing happens. though i will admit that the delay isnt nearly as big as it was when i was using win 2000 or xp
i should have clarified that you shouldnt post in this thread unless you are either: a) a programmer who worked in creating the awesome Windows Millenium Edition b) a bungie programmer who worked on myth 2 c) a top 10 all time myther with at least a masters degree in either matchematics or computer science
thank you populace

I'm a professor of matchematics and it's obvious to me that your arthritic fingers can't release the preset keys in time!

I've studied your x-rays and consulted various colleagues about your problem, Tirri. We have come to a consensus. You have a condition known as dactylitis, commonly referred to as "sausage fingers". While there is no known cure for this condition, I have prescribed an oversided keyboard to make your day-to-day life more comfortable. Please call book a follow-up appointment in 1 month. Sincerely, Dr. Acula

Sigh. When is Shaister's unholy smudging campaign towards Tirri's good name going to end?

The care factor will be forever known and measured by the myth community in what is known as " The Terri Care factor" run along GKG Terri has spent $100 on a keyboard .
