"hahaha gkg trying to draw conclusions that he has just now somehow singlehandedly mastered myth strategy is at the same time the cutest and saddest thing ever. heres a news flash: you won a myth tourney that had by far the worst playing ever.
here is what you were up against in Np (top bracket finalist mind you):
We supposedly had rabican making strats for every match. He showed up drunk every time and was not able to implement the strategies or basically give any orders in the games and so i ended up giving lots of orders. keep in mind that i havent played any myth expect for tourney games in 2 years and had not seen, played or made strats for most of the maps used in this tourney.
In the bottom bracket finals rabican showed up so drunk that he insisted on not capping but wanted to be a powerhitter instead. he only told us he was that drunk after the match though. so what happened was that migraine, who hadnt planned on capping at all, just tried to do exactly the same strats as we did last week. he didnt remember the trades though so in a couple of games he made rabs already crappy strats even worse. no one watched or analysed what happened in np vs bulls games or tried to make better strats.
no one thought our strategies were any good. at no point did we think "ok, this is the best we can come up with for this map". no one cared or made the effort. hah i really cant believe someone is watching those matches right now thinking what a superior myth strategist he is cause his strats are so much better.
and that is only the strategy part of the games. the other thing is that most of np players mechanical myth skills had deteriorated to the point of nonexistence. in a situation where there were no flanks around or anyone pushing, np players simply couldnt be trusted in a simple artillery fight. they would literally lose every 1v1 lock or mort fight. in the bottom bracket final, in a situation like that where there were no flanks or anyone pushing, chickenwire lost 3 artillery units to one lock shot coming directly from the enemy opposite to him, in like the first minute of the game. there was at least one np player that stupidly lost all his troops in the first 2 mins of the game in pretty much every single game. when the level of general play is so bad, its silly to even talk about overall strategy.
you can watch the np vs bullz films and jack off to your strategies all you want, but the truth is that in pretty much every game nps just stupidly lost troops due to bad play without killing anything and it had nothing to do with your strats."
