Almost totaly agree. But thats tge point - its very important skill for heavyhitters. But like in all other games ( including sport ones) every team has captain, few players who get scores(hhs), and few roleplayers who do " dirty work". And every team needs that kind of division of duty. Of course main stars are always hhers, but you need to appriaciate also roleplayer's influence. And they really dont need that kind of skill at maksimum level.

Your methods are your own adren, and its cool to have different perspectives on players. I like to do TA's my own way which ill explain. As adren pointed out 1v1 skills are important. If your captain / strategist doesn't show for your match can you lead a team? In this day and age not many of these types are needed (or are they?) but having one that is capable is very important.

Ok so all of this is very interesting but how does it amount to a 1-5 ball rating? The way I see it is this: use the above criteria to compare a player to the rest. Sometimes it helps to use your own rated skill (high 3 - low 4) to use as a benchmark. That way it heads off bias. The worst thing you can do in a TA is to be biased. I think that you should dragged into a shallow grave and shot for this. These are THREAT ASSESSMENTS, not your personal *cruisering* blog. It defeats the whole purpose while showing what a crying bitch that you are. The people who want to do this are hiding their own lack of talent. Saying that they don't care is laughable. Of course they care if they take time to do TA's.

For the most part the TA's I've seen have been fine. A few bad ones is not a bad thing as long as most of us tow the line. A great example of some really good TA's is dantski's.

This team packs some serious muscle. Cremisi, Ratking and HMP provide a strong center for the roleplayers to build on. There's lots of experience on this team but they are going to have major trouble with scheduling and team-dynamic post the TWS 3 upset. We'll see what happens but R3 should fill in around 4th or even 3rd place.

Muse - The reason I'd never team with any japs ever again except duan. You sir are a *cruisering* moron and a half. I'm giving you 0. Also you're the only person I've ever seen straight up get their giant trapped by someone else's melee on raid without any of your melee around. DUMB ASS.
HMP - Used to be good, plays too much mazz. Just garbage now. Low 3.

Nice team to play with and against.
At the moment I'll rate them 3,5 balls. They have an active roster who can put up a fight with better teams aswell, but might lose due to game awareness.
Ratking has alot of plans, but I feel he can't adapt to change very quickly (as a captain).
Cremisi is ok player, somewhere around 3 balls.
Valentine has improved very much in a year, might be kicking that 3rd ball already.
Slate and Pk are a good addition to this team. They are both good unit handlers and have a good sense of this game. Part of being good in ffa means you have to have awareness of your surroundings and act accordingly. I think Slate might prove himself valuable in this aspect even though I haven't seen him in many 2t games.
I dunno where Pk dropped to myth some years ago, but he's been good ever since. Don't underestimate him. He has some clever tricks to fool you.
Ksi doesn't play stairway to heaven, he makes them. This, of course, has little to do with myth. He's certainly active and knows how to play myth... but not well enough to beat most of the 4 ballers.
I dunno what to say about the rest so I'll just put everyone in order. Biggest threat to enemy on top.

Ratking - ratking has gotten better throghout the years and peopel are upset. however he was active and lead his team to a tournament win. is he worth 4 balls yet, or ? 3.9 dynamic balls.
Mark - mark has been playing for a while. i used to rate him at 4 balls but this is under the presumption that adrenaline is 5 balls. this leaves mark with about 3.7 balls.
Cremisi - cremisi is one of the best things to happen to the myth community, i almost imagine he is actually someone from 2006 or father mac reborn or something. he's earned his wight but he can't bc that well due to shitty connection and no relief from a retarded delay. 3.5 balls.
Ksiaze - Ksaize has been in the last two winter series finals, as he's informed me. something must be going on with this guy. i'm surprised he didn't get robbed like the other powerplayer that was suppsoed to be on this roster , but ksaize isn't really a powerplayer and gekko was never a powerplayer until he was the only known active np (actually, before that, but never recognized as one besides from a few). he's not too bad. 3.5 balls.
Valentine - this is a guy with a lot of potential to grow still (see nc team TA). theres no reason why anyone couldn't teach this guys a few tricks and watch his skill grow. until someones nice and does this, his biggest power will come from the forums, for which he's not recognized at all. 2.9 balls
Slate - slate needs to play a lot more 2 team before i can give him a serious rating. he also seems to have a higher potential factor than other players, but no bc ability. connection may be a factor but this guy is antisocial, hence ffa games only. grow some balls. 2.2 balls
Muse - muse knows whats going on in the game, as few objective minded people can understand (i.e. pogue, bronson, loki, bagrada). while he's bc beatable on a US or european host, he is a smart player and one of the most vetrean of this squad. 3.9 balls
HMP - hmp has been a fine player of myth for years. one of my favorite and one of the most well mannered. i was glad to have him as a teammate, and r3 is lucky to have aquired his talent. while talent can only get you so far, hmp needs more meat on this squad to fully function. 4.0 when he's not a rust bucket
Ten - ten works with the role position on every squad he's been with. he is always happy with what he gets and will play to his best ability. however it is up to the captain to know what role ten should play and which units to use to fully make ten a positive instead of a minus. 2.3 balls

team rating : defending champs of the year, not yet established in mwc but always has the potential to do something marvelous. with work produced or key roster additions they will be fine, and earn 4 trow in a league of higher stakes as well as be able to show it.
