I found out about it from my cousin. One of my cousin's best friends back in the day was comet in like 99. Dude had more points at scav hunt than the 2nd place person did total points. I liked it. I think I had 480x640 resolution on a 28.8 modem in September 1998. When I began to meet friends online and eventually playing with Shaister I really started to enjoy myth.

haha... *cruisering* dialup... i played 97/98 on a 14.4K, then upgrade to 28.8 in '99 lol... didn't get DSL until 2001. Barely played M2 until '03 because the piece of shit computer I had could barely run it... was sooo choppy, almost unplayable. I did play ocassionally before that though (... me and LI used to log on and play TFFA once in a while) but mostly stuck to TFL.

my brother had demo and got myth at the launch but wouldnt let me use his account.
i played demo then somebody on demo give me the tfl devil666 pw devil dummy. then i got my own account. wonderful.

I used a 28.8k modem untill myth 2. I still feel bad for the phone bills my dad had to pay.
