So here's my story. I know it's a bit tldr, but hear me out.
I've been married for about 5 years now. My wife is 3 years younger than me, but that's not so bad. We've had a happy marriage. I guess you could call it an average marriage. We don't go on a vacation trip every year, but we have a nice life. Recently however, there's been been some concerning developments.
I've noticed that my wife has been rather distant lately. She won't talk to me as much as she used to lately and every time I try to start a up a conversation, she end it rather briefly. This mostly leads us into sitting quietly at home. She has started to receive more phone calls than she usually does. Her face seems to light up every time her phone rings. At first I figured that it breaks the silence so she's glad because of that.
I did however start to get a little suspicious when the calls kept coming. I tried to stop myself from thinking about the worst possible option. I however couldn't stop thinking about the possibility of her having an affair. One day I picked up her phone to check what time it was. She noticed this and immediately took the phone away from me and start yelling at me about me not respecting her privacy and all that. I was of course widly surprised by her reaction and tried to explain to her that I just wanted to see what time it was. Her reaction did reinforce my initial suspicions about her having an affair.
One night when she said she's going out, I decided to follow her. I knew she was not going to the town as she left her wallet home. She said a friend of her's is going to pick her up. I watched from the window as a white BMW drove up to our yard and picked her up. I couldn't see who the driver was from the window. I then ran to my old E-class Mercedes and started trailing them from a distance. After driving for about 15 minutes, I noticed they turned to a small country road just outside the town. I naturally followed them. I noticed they stopped their car a few miles down the road, so I turned off mine and went the woods to get closer to the car.
As I got closer to the car, I kept crouching in the bushes. I finally got a clear view of who was driving. When I looked at the car, I saw my wife kissing this really tanned latin guy passionately- This really got my blood boiling and it felt like someone had struck a stake through my heart. I tried to keep my calm as they proceeded to have sex in the car. After it was over, took about 30 minutes, they started up the car and started driving back. I then came out of the bushes and started walking towards my car deeply devasted. I was walking towards my car, I noticed something on my rear bumper. I bend down to see what it was, and I noticed that it was rust. I stretched the bumper a bit and noticed the rust had started to spread a little towards the container. Should I just replace the entire bumper or try repaint it?
