ive been watching documentaries for the past two years. some rather notable ones:
king of the travellers - probably has nothing to do with snatch but this is what probably happened to the pikeys that disappeared at the end [of snatch].
pulling john - documentary on arm wrestling, the parallels are amazing, especially how worked up these people will get over seemingly insignificant tournaments and rank and what it means to them
american gypsy
meet the hutterites (just watch 2 episodes you get the idea)
cocaine cowboys 1 & 2
just about everything with louie theroux, this dude is off the chain he has a style of documenting where he is really non-chalant but slowly asks very personal questions in his british accent and pulls off some very class trolling
a very british gangster - documentary on dominic noonan. it was done really well cinematically speaking, but fails as a proper investigation into this man's life. definitely gives the impression this guy just likes being on camera and probably set everything up himself to promote his own infamy and reputation.
the wild and wonderful whites of west virginia - if you ever wanted to get in the world of trailer trash without actually having to go to louisiana/alabama/west virginia; this is what i would suggest you check out.
armadillo - great war documentary about danish soldiers in afghanistan
the tillman story - very interesting semi-war documentary, its about a soldier who was killed by a shady 'friendly fire' incident and the military cover up that ensued
bouncers itv - bouncing in the uk
assault in the ring - irish boxer in the early stages of his career who got destroyed standing up to luis resto in a very fishy fight
gasland - actually kinda boring even though its well rated, but there is a very interesting scene where they visit this guy's house and he shows he can ignite fireballs by putting a match under the water that comes from his kitchen sink
street thief - next level trolling
catfish - super next level trolling x infinity
