Basically, one of the multitude reasons why myth dies out for the winter and everyone disappears for a year is that there is no place to hang out during the winter. Playmyth and mariusnet forums never acted as such due to excessive and sometimes ridiculous moderation, which drove people away. MWC forums are a one time thing and won't last for the whole year. They of course then get replaced by the next tournament to appear during the spring, or next MWC if there's no "winter" tournament.
What we need is another hotspot forums outside of mariusnet. This place needs to be hosted by someone reputable (ie. Not Liger or Falcon). Future tournaments could also be hosted on the same server (by creating a subsite & forums for the tournament there). The site itself could act as a storage place for old articles and could contain links to useful stuff in general (like plugins, videos etc).
And I repeat again, this place needs to be hosted by someone reputable from the competitive myth in-crowd instead of someone who hasn't played the game since TFL was released (Magma types), so it actually attracts and works as a gathering place for the in-crowd of myth for the dead season. Perhaps this would help to keep peaples around and the dead season wouldn't be so dead.
But it's basically too late to do this for this year probably. This MWC should have been hosted at this imaginary site for it to happen now.
