As this tournament comes to a close I'd like to comment and commend some things before your attention is completely averted away from myth, until another time.
First off, I'd like to thank the Southern Parkians team for coming together and playing as a real team. We faced challenges along the way and you guys are the reason the debate of "Sp was better than Bullz or Bullz was better than Sp" will echo throughout the halls of myth until they are closed forever. I am glad we were able to experience living a dream such as this, and as far as I'm concerned, Sp will be remembered as Our Team.
Second, I'd like to thank all teams and opponents we faced, including those that we haven't, as you are all pieces of the MWC puzzle, each with your own opinions, clicking abilities and awareness. Big ups to NC and MYT for being worthy opponents, even more to MYT, as Sp probably never would have formed if you didn't stack your team to the brim with tricks and weapons.
Third, I'd like to thank grim for hosting another MWC, possibly his last or possibly not. I am not here to take your torch to and ever host MWC, yet I hope that if you are gone someone else will be around to carry this torch into 2012. Whether that happens or not, the end of MWC is a sign of the times, and once again you have successfully hosted and rigged a tournament to it's fruition. Without you, myth lacks the energy that has kept so few around for so long, and most importantly lacking, a Raziel. Thanks again.
Fourth, I'd like to thank all teammates and others I've interacted with over the years; while I've made a few terrible decisions I believe they have turned me into the better person I am today. I am forever your brother, forever your child.
Fifth, I'd like to thank Martin Luther King Jr. His inspirational "Promise Land" speech was delivered twice when our team needed it the most, and we have indeed reached the promised land. Rest in Peace.
Lastly, I'd like to thank Cu for hating on Homer's devotion to religion. Without him, I never would have watched Mother Angelica's April 13th, 1999 episode yesterday and have taken the time to remember what being spiritual is really about.

"You and I are par to love as god loves. even our enemies. we can always be careful, we can always be prudent, but we can never harbor hatred in our hearts. because the people who are our enemies, probably need your prayers more than anyone. because, they may be close to another kingdom, just pray for them. and what does it mean to love them? to do if you can, and harbor no evil thoughts. just leave them to God."

"Well in one way its easy
in one way its very hard
if i can accept the present moment, the present moment, with joy
meaning without resentment, without anger. or disappointment....
You know, the best thing that God can do for us sometimes is to say no.
I bet there's a lot of women in this place who didn't fall in love about 18 19 years old dying to marry this man and so happy now she didn't.
I'll make a bet there's men in this place, who almost married this wonderful girl, but then looked at her 20 years later and said 'Thank you God.'
Is that not true? sure it is, sure its true.
so we have to have that attitude, Thank you lord, I'm happy, no matter what God asks, what he does to us or for us, it doesn't mean we're happy happy.
No, joy is a contentment within
It has nothing to do with your facial expression
You know, we're not scientists
if I'm eatin beans, i'm eatin beans. i know they're beans, i say they're beans, they're beans. i'm not gunna say im eatin chicken, im eatin beans. so its a contentment with God's will. that is joy. because you're not unhappy with God's will."
it's an acceptance, abandonment is a good word. because it says lord i trust that whatever is happening in this room is good for me.
And to understand the basics of this:
35:25
We don't know how to forgive like Jesus
because we don't read it
we don't know what he did so we don't read this book
i not only have to forgive i have to serve the very enemy.
see our friends are wonderful
it is a great gift to have a friend
but it is our enemies that make us practice virtue
make us forgive
make us like god
that's why the lord says to love your enemies
they do good to you
really.
Therefore not only do I thank Cu, but all of my enemies as well, I guess this covers the majority of those in my 2nd part of thanks.
Anyway, I enjoyed the tournament, enjoyed the company, and enjoyed getting to know some of you even better. Here's to the times we've had, the times we've lost, and time we have in the future to do whatever it is we wish and need to do.
"So I guess this is where I tell you what I learned - my conclusion, right? Well, my conclusion is: Hate is baggage. Life's too short to be pissed off all the time. It's just not worth it. Derek says it's always good to end a paper with a quote. He says someone else has already said it best. So if you can't top it, steal from them and go out strong. So I picked a guy I thought you'd like. 'We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained, it must not break our bonds of affection. The mystic chords of memory will swell when again touched, as surely they will be, by the better angels of our nature.'" - Danny Vineyard, Abe Lincoln; American History X
