This is by far the worst movie I've seen in a while, and trust me, I watch plenty of horrible films. I'll try to make a review with my frenglish, god I miss the days where I could speak english decently.
- The action scenes : they looked like a bad chuck norris movie. The fight scenes had no punch at all, and seemed to be unwillingly shot in slow motion. Want to see good action scenes ? Go watch the raid, at least the fight scenes, even if they last forever are decent.
- The villains : Bane has no charisma at all. I felt sad for heath ledger adiction to oxycodone or whatever it is spelled the whole movie. The Joker was a way better villain, crazy, unpredictable, and crazy, and this why so serious scene is now legendary. Catwoman : uh wtf ? Everytime she spoke she made me want to smash my head on the walls. Go watch the batman from 1992, and tell me how could they *cruiser* her character so much, they had 20 years to improve. Marion Cotillard was hilariously bad and seemed to be here only to get the cash.
- rest, ghengis summarized it pretty well, and I'm out of english for tonight.
Ghengis you are a wise person I will now start a non stop exalting campaign for you, and stop my ska non stop smitting campaing immediately.

also although it is stupid:
They have a little scene at the end where the scientists tell Morgan freeman that the "autopilot" had been fixed. So I suppose that explains batman disappearing.

To be fair, I enjoyed the movie... as long as my credulousness remained intact. I thought it was an interesting effect to have Bane's voice sound as if it were coming from everywhere at once, and not directed from a singular localized source. In the end Captain is right to say that it's a fantasy movie and should be treated as such, so I do and I did. I just couldn't help but notice some discrepancies.

I liked The Dark Knight Rises.
It's got flaws (many flaws), but for what it is; third movie in a franchise, it does it well. One second scene with Christian Bale and at the end is a nod to the audience... Batman can't die... acceptable so long as there isn't another movie...
Things I liked:
- Cillian Murphy as the judge in the kangaroo court - Bane: Tom Hardy dominates every scene he is in. He is a complete presence on screen and has great swagger the entire film. - Batman dies - Snow: half the movie takes place in winter which changes things up and take the series back to its "dark" Gotham roots - The legend of Ra's al Ghul and the league of shadows: brings the trilogy full circle and Liam Neeson gets to be in another Yoda-esque scene. - Final battle between Bane and Batman resembles epic Gangs of Newyork intro. - Legend of Robin: Joseph gordon-levitt. Levitt is just so dreamy - Gary Oldman - Vehicle design
Things I didn't like:
- The plot, there isn't any. Raziel's Ghol's daughter wants to blow up gotham with a neutron bomb made from Batman's fusion reactor. - Michael Cain's limited role, Morgan Freeman's non-role, - Dumbass fight between police and "terrorists" - The "real world" political dimension; there is none. All of Gotham is under siege for months and nobody seems to care. Bane wipes out Navy Seal Team Six, entire us military, etc (the other gods are powerless against the chaotic force...) - Neutron bomb that explodes like an atomic bomb.

Funny you posted that. Tonight I was discussing how our 2-term presidential limit makes us psychotically unpredictable diplomatically. Trade BFFs one decade, mortal enemies the next.

Finally saw this movie, I couldnt hate on it that much, but if they changed a few small things it's would've been a lot better.
Also while it lacked a certain charisma of the 2nd movie, as the joker's irrational psychoticness can never be duplicated. it was ok, bane was a pretty good villain
Cat woman was a good character, but she had too many corny one liners, seemed every time she put that mask on she had to say something unbelievably dumb that no one would say in a life or death situation "my city is about to be nuked situation, let me have to say something every time I straight kick a terrorist in the face"
Bane's voice wasn't too bad, but it did sound a little bit dumb, if they could made it deeper...
The fact that in Batman's first fight with Bane he must've crushed his face in 20 times with hay makers, Batman isn't some 10 year old kid, and somehow Bane didn't come away with a scratch or even a bruise....I totally get it's just a movie, but why can't they offer the slightest bit of realism in this regard, the fact that if two martial arts experts are crushing their skulls in with high powered punches and I can't even see some swelling? Come on. I get it...Bane's a badass...being able to take pain doesn't change the fact that he's human and when someone punches you in the face 10 times your skin tends to break and swell even if you have a small metal mask on that covers your mouth...
The cops charging terrorists is also dumb, because that would've been a military or national guard job. Most the cops just march in like assholes not even in swat gear with their 9 MM hand guns. They could've been more realistic here too without complicating the plot.
Lastly they throw this line out about how the reactor becomes more unstable the longer the clock ticks, then with 10 mins left, Batman bashes the bomb into 10 buildings driving his chopper thing. IF THE BOMB IS THAT UNSTABLE please don't have it flip thirty feet off a bridge inside of a metal container....they could've solved this problem by leaving that one line out...
Robin was cast well, that dudes a good actor, and I see no problem with batman not dying to save Gotham he fixed the auto pilot good move buddy. The scarecrow judging everyone was hilarious, hopefully he just keeps showing up in movies being a dick to people and always getting away. It was overall not that bad, of course it wasn't going to measure up to the 2nd movie.
Over all the movie had a good moral which is never trust a woman, they are going to take your money and then literally stab you in the back.
Also cops are dumb.

my main gripe was how they turned bane into a faggot and gave him the most mundane death/exit
so we're told he's not the supervillain but just a henchman? some bitch gently replugs his mask then he CRIES? he loves her but she friendzones him and leaves him to die for her? WTF

WTF Yes, I think Bane is the real victim of this movie, *cruiser* the stupid citizens of Gotham, I felt a true pang of sadness for this guy at this moment, he got his face caved in for this lady, then she has sex with batman and wraps Bane into her ridiculous suicidal revenge plot, and yes he just gets blasted in the chest. Poor guy.

Poor guy. No sarcasm here, not even joking, the citizens of Gotham have proven to be nothing but easily manipulated fools. Bane is just a neck wrenching hero, it's not his fault all these idiots get in his way, or that some she devil has corrupted his mind by teasing him a long to be her muscle. BANE IS A MARTYR FOR ALL MEN EVERYWHERE WHO HAVE EVER BEEN STRUNG ALONG OR USED BY WOMEN, OR MANIPULATED INTO A TERRORIST PLOT. BANE! BANE! BANE!
