Okay, so after looking into this I am not sure I am going to do this, a lot of the videos I watched have people switching names all the time, I would be willing to do the statistics for the people that kept their names but trying to figure out who is who is kind of annoying....Thoughts?

the program extracts stats by login. the main issue would be removing subs from each game and accounting for the idiots who play on more than 1 account. yes, it is a giant pain in the ass.

yes, there is. it skews the stats, especially if that player had already played a match in the round.

If you want to do it together Rat, just noticing all the extra accounts its going to be a pain.... to make it somewhat easier for you guys since we have the most changes i'd bet. I could at least let you know who's who during matches.

At the same time I feel stats for reg myth tournaments are pointless anyways. It's all based around what units people are using and the team their playing on.

punkUser if you guys switch to XML it would make parsing waaaaay easier and I'd be willing to update the program. Yes we'll switch to some standard parsable format in 1.8 (still have yet to do it). Probably XML or JSON. The latter is a bit less wordy and even simpler to parse. We don't exactly need all the hierarchical stuff in XML anyways. That said, this really all should be done on the metaserver database and avoid a ton of hassle getting this data out of myth (when it already sends it to mariusnet/etc. anyways). It would be way easier to just write the proper queries on the game database for the next tournament.

Do it yourself its unnecessary and a hassle to deal with doing statistics unless wightys scripts are being used.
