should we just play all teams as possible during the next 1 or 2 week period then top blah blah advance 1 weekend finale or is this full de and no qr period
coz otherwise im wondering how you'll be making brackets,

yep just schedule on your own or if you see another team on just play them. I'm going to see how the first week goes, I may extend the QR another week if it seems like it is difficult for people to get their games in.

Ok Asmo this is why your tourney is failing.
1. QR for a 2v2 tourney WTF?! Seriously this requires people to spend a heck of a lot of time on games that will only have seeding purposes. For MWC this is ok, for a 2v2 tourney which typically has patchy commitment and attendance its a nightmare.
2. No fallbacks, you can't just leave it to the players to sort out (see MWC05 finals) its been proven time and time again this doesn't work.
3. Multi-week tourney. Now this isn't a deal breaker at all, but some of us would much prefer playing single elim best of 3 games and finishing the tourney in 2 hours on a single day. Having to play multiple 5 games matches on separate days is not appealing.

QR was to eliminate the teams down to 8. Also 20 games in total isn't that much that would take like a total of 2 hrs...anyways you are probably right I should change things up because this isn't working. I'll set a fallback for this weekend and put up brackets later when I get back to my apartment...

I was gona have it schedule on your own but it seems that didn't work. If people are still interested I can set the fallback for sunday the 22nd when i will be done with all my finals and back in Cali
