most everyone on d2jsp forums who played the beta said it sucked, u dont even pick your stats, thats enough of a reason to not play it, im told its nothing like diablo2, aka it blows, they just attached the name "diablo" to it in otherwords.. heres a picture of blizzard while making diablo 3  |

actually they took everything shitty about d2 and made it different so it is better, yes. I played the open beta, and it was awesome.

i dont remember anything shitty about d2, besides the stupid shit like realm down, glitched characters (when game crashes and u cant join a game for 8 minutes), etc, all shit related to the servers
I cant complain about one aspect of game play i didnt like in d2, all i know is softcore was for pussies
oh wait, i remember, back in 1.06 or so they nerfed Nova, fuckers ruined my sorc, there were a couple other skills they nerfed or made a little too powerful (u can argue hammerdins) but any character could be killed easily with a correctly geared and spec'd char, so no point in arguing about that
but seriously.. diablo3, u cant pick your own stats? u could do that in freak'n diablo 1... that was the beauty of d2, every char could be unique and u could make it more challenging depending on how you wanted to build your dude.. full energy sorc with mana shield, low life, dmg to mana, dmr reduce, tank melee sorc? go right afucking head, pump the energy leave vitality blank, or a barb pumped with strength, *cruiser* it go ahead, make it more challenging..
oh but in diablo 3? u can be the same as every one else, have fun

But either way, I'm going off whats been described to me on d2jsp, i didnt play the beta, but the overall opinion of the die hard d2 players was disappointment, we'll see if i decide to waste my money on a new game

I can't tell you how many times I've reinstalled D2 to get bored with it faster and faster each time, but every time I log back on Myth I play it for months on end because it's just better.

In fairness hadz d2 jsp is full of mouth breathing neckbeards; and diablo2 was good early on but had tons and tons of shitty aspects to it. Duping - Botting - Runewords making 98% of items worthless just to name a few.

None of this prevalent on Classic (which was probably better than xpak, I'd go through periods of time playing one or the other). and if there was any botting, it was very minimal and contained to softcore. Duping, havent heard of that shit in yrs on d2, besides from d2shops, but who the hell pays real $$ for d2 items besides total phags |
