a better question would be "what drives grim to keep mwc going?"
with a couple exceptions, grim has single-handedly* kept this tournament (and with it, the community of competitive players) alive since the first resurrection in 2003.
*- yeah yeah, he had help, nobody can do it alone bla bla bla, the fact is there is literally not a single other player left who is both motivated and competent enough to host a successful myth tournament. if grim stops, mwc stops.
