You can surf in Canada, you just have to be a man.

I DO surf in Canada... on the Great Lakes (freshwater). In the fall/winter. 6/5/4 hooded wetsuit ftw. Last time I went out (December) it was below freezing, 25-30 knot winds, with surface water temps around 38 degrees F. I was actually fine in the water for about 3 hrs. It was getting out of the water and out of the wetsuit in that wind that almost killed me.

Is it only windswells then? I was talking about the ocean but yeah the great lakes get pretty good on a storm.

ya it's windswells only. I've only surfed Lake Ontario's east end so far... but I've bodyboarded on Superior. Superior gets insane... check out some youtube vids. When the winds are right on Ontario, I've seen 6-8 foot faces, but I've heard of 15. The problem is that it's pretty choppy and rarely do you find a really clean face. And the current is insane... absolutely insane. That last time I went out, kneedeep felt like you were standing in a raging river. So ya... paddling is a hell of a workout. I surfed in the Dominican Republic in February too... my only experience in salt water so far.

REPRESENTING CANADA WE HAVE A POLAR BEAR VS A BEACH CONE SHELL FROM AUSTRALIA! The Bear uses its jaws to crush the life out of the shell but not before the shell stings and kills the polar bear. Looks like the polar bear is victorious no wait, its gone paralysed and dropped dead. The poision from a cone shell is enough to kill 20 adult men. Looks like yet again another reason why having big animals means shit in Australia. Usually the smaller ones are more venomous.

Your animals are also the leading causes of homicide in Australia, since your government banned guns LOL. 1. AMERICA 2. Canada (strong economy, mostly harmless) 3. Australia (cool atmosphere, still better than England) 4. The moon 5. Anywhere else in the world. Animals committing homicide? Try leading cause of death, lol.
