not really. it doesn't allow any team to abuse the sub system. why should a 2 trow team be allowed to add more than one 4 ball player? that would no longer make them a 2 trow team... that logic makes as much sense as kirk has a valid account on mariusnet 'trow' and 'ball' ratings are all from personal perspective. seems a bit ridiculous to restrain teams from adding 'more than one 4' ball player if they are a 2 trow team... when they are playing against a 4 trow team. if the games were 2 trow vs 2 trow, i can see your point however, but that's not what i was getting at. all i need is bronson's password and i'll be able to play for every team far more often than if i used my own account, as my ball rating will "smoke-and-mirrors" appear to whatever grim thought it was in 06. substitute rating system should be based on trow ratings for teams who the 'substituting' team is playing, not 'due to their roster ball rating' or whatever. i don't think any team is 3 trows or better if they are going to be using substitutes in their games anyway... or at least according to your logic! NOT TO MENTION, wouldn't trow ratings become inaccurate depending on the substituting player(s), as you have stated? The substitute system was set up to increase total players participating by match time, as well as quality of games, was it not?i just think grim using the wrong variable to measure which whatever rated teams should get which subs, or blah blah.

You could just adjust it by rating, with balls being inversely proportional to how many you can add, 4 and 5 getting treated the same.
Team A has 7 players. Team B has 5, thus has 2 'points' to spend.
rating..........cost 4 or 5..........3 3.................2 2.................1 1.................0
By this method, they couldn't add a 4 or 5 baller, but could add one 3-ball, or two 2-ball, and any number of 1-balls.
To be fair though, you'd have to rate each team according to the players that they have. Team A in this example might all be 2-ballers, and Team B might be a mix of 3 & 4 ballers. Letting Team B have any subs in this case would still be vastly unfair.

To be fair though, I could just use elfoids account, and substitute for every team. Right? To be fair though, right?

If you sub on the MWC championship team in finals, are you officially an MWC champion or do they brand an aster-ix into your forehead?
