I freaked myself into thinking I had tinnitus, then saw on another board a link to this KS. I laughed and cried that I turned into a demigod. Send me $20 for a video of how you can become a demigod, too.
Seriously, these people need to be committed, taken off the streets ASAP.
That 2nd update video looks like Myth 2 with hirez units being played by *cruisering* terrible players. The problem is embedded there: they might be hi-rez, but they're still *cruisering* just 2d sprites. The trees are still retarded if you rotate the camera around them and the only side of the tree rotates with it to face you.
Here's another thing: who's going to play test and balance all these new units, especially the ones "designed" by backers? Because I sure as hell know that there's no one (so far) involved that's anything close to being a good nor smart player, so just throw out the gameplay being any good. Part of Myth's awesomeness is the sweet spot Bungie nailed with unit balance (mostly; hello, fetch). That has no chance of happening here.
Finally, you guys are a PR disaster. No one in their right mind is giving this a second glance as evidenced by the utter failure it's become, whether it's the hostility towards critics or the evasiveness towards legitimate questions.
Let me supply an analogy. You can rotely memorize a Hendrix solo and add in a few notes of your own, but that does not mean you can play guitar like Jimi, and there's no *cruisering* way anyone's going to pay to hear you play.

I laughed my ass off so hard at the trailer , with the david attenborough zoom outs in the wilderness. I really cant belive some people are that sad to take it way too the next obsessional level that even I would not dare to cross.

i felt so sorry for Road in their update video. he looks like the only sane one in their outfit, and was probably too polite to tell those two fuckwitted assclowns ren&stimpy how off the planet they are until it snowballed into this train wreck of a project.
but it still provided the best myth lols this year
