I am surprised to not hear any mention of SP forums. Or are those not as interesting because we roflstomped? I could give the Bullz forums too from last year.

duno why grim is still trying to keep a team tournament forum private for a tournament long over. who gives a shit, myth is nearly dead. scared to have others see that you cared? well maybe that is exactly what the myth community needs, to see that some cared about it so others might be able to as well. The care arguments over gaming forums for a game we all keep playing 14 years later is the most ridiculous thing i've ever seen in a gaming community. If a person truly didn't care, then they wouldn't feel the need to mention that they didn't care.

And it's not like we are the kind of carebear gamers you might find rampant in a game like WoW, the players of which will shed tears over pixels on their screen (loot), we play competitive ass pvp tournaments on a really skilled game. it wouldn't be competition without care.

SP and Bullz forums has a good amount of care in it, mostly by me, and I certainly don't give a shit if others see that. Because of the care I was able to play the game the way I like to play it (competitively), and have the most fun doing so. Since this is a computer game, and entertainment is ultimately the only purpose of it, that is all that really matters.

Riddle me this:

If person "A" cares, but doesn't care about their care, and person "B" supposedly doesn't care, but does care about their care, who cares more?

tldr: grim stop being a sissy and open up the private team forums. plenty of good quality forum content on there that people haven't seen, so why not?

Pretty much agree.
I for one would be interested to read both sp and myteam.
Not for any particular reason other than its interesting content.
Also reading the strategies posts i find interesting. I found strat posts in team-karma interesting i'm sure i'd find the similar posts in myteam and sp forums interesting.

In regards to care level.
Can only speak for myself mostly.
Last year i cared enough to show up for matches that was about it. I played nothing other than mazz when i played myth and didnt spend 5 mins all tourney doing anything much mwc or reg myth related.
This year i cared a bit more and actually played a bunch of reg games that werent tourney games which resulted in better play than last year.
Still didnt care quite enough to go through strats or try to do practice games but i dunno if anybody ever got any practice games in really.

Everybody that seriously competes i think probably cares to win to some degree it's just the degree that varies. Not many people literally have zero care as far as mwc is concerned if they are playing in it.

Mayhaps same reason why I don't allow dummying? No one's gonna use "private" forums in the future if they aren't actually going to be private. This of course doesn't matter to people like Paris, but since I actually would still somewhat like us to actually have moderately successful tournaments, some restrictions will still apply.
